We had the goose to go. In practical terms, it was also well packaged. BUT the goose had a sad taste, only a little crispy skin, the rest was greasy just like the sauce which had hardly any taste. The dumplings and red cabbage were also maximally ok. In terms of price it was ok, but then rather spend more and eat better. That was nothing.

We have ordered a goose togo. One of the best roast goose I've eaten. Everything fitted. Everyone in us was thrilled.

Typical German cooking with nice service. Do not expect fancy or creative food, but very good classics like Schnitzel or Steaks. Apfelwein good but not special.

Nice, cozy atmosphere in the half-timbered house. Delicious cutlet eaten. Schnitzel with cooked cheese, of which there was unfortunately only a hint on the plate. That should be more. Cheese mustard schnitzel great taste, gratinated with mustard and cheese, but unfortunately too dry overall. Super side salad with various leaf salads, carrots, corn, cucumber and red cabbage and a delicious salad dressing. Finally, a great apple brandy on the house. We will be back.

The Christmas goose tasted excellent

The service very slow, the food took too long to arrive. When he arrived, the Schnitzel came unreamed and, it didn't seem to be the right dish. The apfelwine is fine and the waitress friendly.

We were with the hiking group outside the opening hours here. Very friendly fast service and delicious food. We will certainly come back privately.

Charm of a Hessian Äppelwoi pub. Good food, enough portions. Friendly service, unfortunately few parking spaces. Recently celebrated the christening of our grandson there, were very satisfied with the complete arrangement, priced well. Beautiful hall to celebrate on the 1st floor. Only downside of the economy, toilets also on the 1st floor, difficult for people with mobility problems.

I was here for the first time in years and have to say that I think it's a pity that there is no choice of vegetarian dishes. I know, meat is added to the traditional, German, traditional cuisine, but other restaurants in the area such as Mother Krauss etc. still offer vegetarian options. After I asked if you could possibly put together a vegan version in the kitchen, such as some vegetables with fried potatoes, it was said that only the dishes were available on the menu. Then I ordered the fried potatoes (which were very good!) And a side salad which despite notice first with egg and yoghurt sauce with cucumber salad came 😅 Polite again explained and exchanged and the problem was solved. My companion was happy with their mixed food and the ambience in the courtyard at the pleasant temperatures was nice.

We have been happy to eat here for several years. Unfortunately, the food is currently much worse. Schnitzel wet with fat and not properly roasted fried potatoes. Too bad.
